    Undergraduate

    • Trent sets admission by the Ontario equivalent of your Class 12 results. Its 2026 viewbook gives estimated averages of 70–75% for Business Administration and Computer Science (80–85% for co-op), and 75–80% for Data Science and Forensic Science.
    • Business and Computer Science expect English and Class 12 mathematics; science programmes also need the relevant science subjects.
    • Three years of full-time high school taught entirely in English can exempt you from an English test, though Trent may still ask for scores.

    Postgraduate

    • Postgraduate certificates need an undergraduate degree from any accredited university; the Accounting certificate is for graduates whose degree is not in accounting.
    • Many certificates have a single start term (for example, AI & Information Technology starts in January only), so check the programme page before you plan your visa.
    • Two-year certificates at Durham GTA are listed as eligible for up to three years of Post-Graduation Work Permit, subject to IRCC rules.
