Before you start

Why take the MBBS Abroad Psychometric Test, and who is it for?

MBBS abroad means about six years away from home, a demanding course and NMC rules to meet before you can practise in India. This test helps you check, before you pay any fee, whether medicine really suits you, whether you meet the usual NEET and PCB rules, and which countries fit your budget for the whole course.

Why take it

  • Check the calling, not just the marks

Interest in medicine and comfort with long study hours matter as much as a NEET score.

  • See where you stand on the rules

It checks the usual NEET-UG and PCB conditions and points you to the current NMC rules.

  • Compare countries by total cost

Countries are ranked by the whole-course cost against your family's budget.

  • Prepare for life abroad

Readiness covers living away from home for years, the local language and handling money.

Who should take it

  • NEET aspirants

Students who qualified or are appearing for NEET-UG and are considering an MBBS abroad.

  • Parents

Families comparing MBBS abroad with a private seat in India.

  • Students unsure about medicine

Anyone who wants to check the fit before committing six years.

What it is not

  • It is a guidance test, not a clinical or aptitude test, and it does not decide admission, eligibility or licensing.

About the MBBS Abroad Psychometric Test

What does the MBBS Abroad Psychometric Test check?

Your interests (whether medicine suits you), how you work, and how ready you are for an MBBS abroad: NEET, studies, six years away from home, money, NMC rules and the local language. It also checks the usual NEET and PCB rules and ranks the countries on this site by the whole-course cost against your budget.

Can I do MBBS abroad without NEET?

To use an MBBS from abroad to practise in India, NMC rules require NEET-UG qualification, among other conditions. Rules can change, so always check the current NMC rules before you apply. The test shows where you stand and links to our NMC rules guide.

Is this a psychometric test?

Yes, a guidance psychometric test built on open frameworks (Holland's interest types and a short work-style scale) with questions written by Admission Mantra. It is not a validated clinical or aptitude test and doesn't decide admissions, eligibility or licensing.

Will I see the same questions if I take it again?

Mostly not. Each attempt picks questions from a larger pool and puts the ones you saw before last.

What happens to my answers?

They stay in your browser. If you ask for the PDF report, only your scores and a short summary go to our counsellors, never your answers. Students under 18 need a parent's or guardian's mobile number and consent for that.
