About the university
Griffith College is one of Ireland's largest independent third-level colleges. It was founded in 1974 and its main campus is on the South Circular Road in Dublin, with further campuses in Cork and Limerick. Its degrees are validated by Ireland's national qualifications body, QQI, and by partner universities.
Griffith focuses on practical, career-focused courses in business, computing, law, media and design, pharmaceutical science and more, with small classes and close contact with lecturers. Many students work part-time while they study.
For Indian students the main draw is cost and flexibility: most master's degrees cost €16,000 for non-EU students, the pharmaceutical and medical device master's courses €17,500, and computing master's courses offer September and February starts.
As a private college, Griffith is not ranked in the major world university rankings. Its master's degrees are recognised Irish level 9 qualifications, so graduates can usually apply for Stamp 1G to stay and look for work.
