About Transport and Telecommunication Institute (TSI)

The Transport and Telecommunication Institute (TSI) is a private technical university in Riga. It was set up in 1999 but grew out of a technical and aviation school whose history goes back to 1919, which is why aviation and transport remain part of its identity. Today it teaches computer science, AI, computer engineering, robotics, transport and logistics, aviation engineering and business.

TSI's standout feature for international students is its double degrees with the University of the West of England (UWE Bristol). Students on these English-taught programmes study in Riga and graduate with two degrees, one from TSI and one from UWE Bristol: for example a BSc in Computer Science with a UWE BSc (Hons) in Computer Science and Software Development, or an MSc in Data Analytics and AI.
