About the university

Turība University is a private university in Riga, founded in 1993. It calls itself the largest business university in the Baltic states, with about 4,000 students from more than 40 countries. It has four faculties: Business Administration, Law, International Tourism, and IT.

Turība's programmes are practical and career-focused, with strong ties to Latvian employers; the university says it is among the top three universities recommended by employers in Latvia. English-taught bachelor's degrees cover business administration, logistics, computer systems, tourism and hospitality, and international communication, and there are English-taught master's degrees in business, HR, communication, tourism and IT.

Its own campus on Graudu Street, in the south of Riga, has a student hostel on site and its own railway stop, about 7–9 minutes by train from central Riga. Hostel beds are among the cheapest student housing in the city.

For Indian students, Turība is one of the most affordable options in Latvia: €3,990 a year for any English-taught bachelor's or master's. Non-EU students must pay the full first-year fee and a €500 refundable deposit before the university issues an invitation, and Indian applicants also go through Hello Verify document verification. Turība is not ranked globally.
