About the university

Windesheim is a public university of applied sciences with about 25,000 students and campuses in Zwolle and Almere. Most of its teaching is in Dutch, but it offers two full bachelor's degrees in English, both in Zwolle: International Business and Global Project and Change Management.

Like other Dutch universities of applied sciences, Windesheim focuses on practical, career-oriented education. Students work on real projects with organisations, take internships and study in small classes. In the Keuzegids HBO 2027, Windesheim ranks fourth among Dutch universities of applied sciences.

For Indian students the main draws are a low non-EU fee (€9,314 a year in 2026/27) for a four-year BBA, small classes and a friendly mid-sized city. Windesheim does not offer its own scholarships, saying its fees are already low.

Zwolle is a historic city in the east of the Netherlands. Windesheim estimates living costs for non-EU students at €18,000 to €24,000 a year including tuition.
