About the university
ESIC began in Madrid in 1965 as a school of commercial engineering and became ESIC University in 2019. It is a private institution that focuses on business, marketing and digital economy, with campuses across Spain and in Latin America.
Marketing is its best-known field. ESIC lists strong positions in Spanish newspaper and business rankings for advertising, marketing and MBA programmes, and Forbes Spain listed it among the private universities most valued by companies in 2026.
For Indian students the English-taught options are mainly in Madrid: an International MBA, a Master's Degree in International Trade & Business, a Master in Marketing Management and two five-year double bachelor's degrees in marketing and business. Most other programmes, including business analytics, finance and supply chain master's, are taught in Spanish.
The Madrid campus is in Pozuelo de Alarcón, in the Madrid region, so students are close to the capital's jobs market and international community.
