About the university
The University of Santiago de Compostela, founded in 1495, is described by THE as an ancient university and one of the most respected in Spain. It has about 25,000 students on two campuses, Santiago de Compostela and Lugo.
USC offers 85 master's. Its engineering and computing area includes artificial intelligence, computer vision, high-performance computing, big data, the Internet of Things, autonomous vehicles and project management. Several of these are joint programmes with other Galician universities.
For Indian students the interest lies in a few English-taught technical master's, such as Artificial Intelligence and Computer Vision. Most other programmes are taught in Spanish or Galician. Non-EU students without Spanish residence pay a separate price set each year by the rector, so check that price before you apply.
Santiago de Compostela is a small, historic city and the capital of Galicia. Lugo hosts USC's second campus.
