About the university
Nottingham Trent University (NTU) is a large public university in Nottingham with about 35,000 students. It has taught art and design in the city since 1843 and now offers more than 500 courses across eight academic schools.
NTU is known for work placements: it says it is in the UK's top five for undergraduates on one-year placements (HESA 2021/22). Nottingham Business School holds triple accreditation from EQUIS, AACSB and AMBA, and many of its master's courses can be taken over two years with a placement year.
For Indian students NTU has advisors in Mumbai, Delhi and Nottingham, accepts Standard XII English at 70% from CBSE and several state boards, and offers the India Prestigious University Award of £3,000 or £4,000 to graduates of six major Indian universities. Most business master's courses cost £21,600 a year for 2027/28.
Nottingham is a city in the East Midlands. NTU's 2027 international guide notes that over 20% of the city is green space.
