About the university

The University of Northampton describes itself as one of the youngest universities in the UK. It built a whole new campus, Waterside, which opened in September 2018.

Northampton has won several awards for its social impact work. Teaching is in small classes with a focus on practical skills, and many master's offer a placement route.

For Indian students the main attraction is cost. Most master's on this page are £19,000 (2026/27 fee), and the merit-based International Scholarship can take £2,000 to £4,000 off the fee each year. Master's start in September and January or February, and some also in June.

Waterside Campus halls cost about £175 to £213 a week in 2026/27.
